As for vintage barware, you ask? It seems like an odd pairing... Mid Century Modern barware and luxury home fragrances... But, thats precisely what is so unique about RegencyMod. For us, its all about the ambience. Imagine serving craft cocktails in stunning vintage barware by divinely-scented candlelight... Voila! You've just hosted the perfect evening.

Flowers and chocolates are feasts for the eyes and mouth, but when it comes to multisensory romancing, the nose knows, says Kim Wessinger.
“It is a gift of romance to give someone a candle,” says Wessinger, co-owner with partner – in business and in love – Justin C. Derossett of RegencyMod, a chic and aromatic candle shop located in the sprawling Scottsdale Marketplace collective. Wessinger and Derossett stock the finest names in luxury: NEST, Agraria, Antica Farmacista and “the gold standard” Cire Trudon – the world’s oldest candlemaker, which has been pouring wax since 1643.
Beautiful boozing also sets the stage for Valentine’s Day amour. Wessinger and Derossett augment their luxe candles with what they say is the largest retail collection of vintage barware in the country. On any given day, they have 250-300 sets shelved at their shop – all in “near mint to mint condition” and American-made, a point of pride for Wessinger, who draws inspiration from her World War II pilot grandfather and florist grandmother and their 52-year marriage. “Because they loved each other so much, I try to put a lot of that heart back into my space.”
Glasses
“They just don’t make glassware like that anymore,” Wessinger says of her vintage sets, which start at $59. “It’s so gorgeous, just that character and warmth.”
AgRaria
“It’s so important to me to give people quality,” Wessinger says. She likes Agraria candles and diffusers (starting at $55) because “there’s no black soot or ash anywhere.”
Cire Trudon (Main image)
“These guys are the Bentleys,” Wessinger says. “[The glass] is hand-blown in Italy and then [the candles are] hand-poured in Normandy.” Her personal favorite is L’Admirable ($95), which smells of “bitter orange and vetiver with fresh cologne.”
Lalique
Wessinger recommends mixing candles with reeds and oil diffusers ($85-$125). “That’s probably my No. 1 thing, besides the education of what quality luxury home fragrance is all about, is how do you blend it?”
